On January 20, 2020, on a chilly evening in Old Town Temecula, something magical was about to happen.

Baharak, a lively and independent woman, and a mother to two beautiful girls, had just got off work and was heading home. Her girls were away visiting their dad, so she needed to get out and do something fun for herself. She had always wanted to learn how to line dance, and found the perfect opportunity. So, she signed up to dance that evening at a local venue in Old Town Temecula called The Stampede. Baharak decided to grab a quick dinner at a restaurant bar nearby before dancing the night away in her stilettos. The stars aligned for a serendipitous encounter that would change the lives of two strangers forever.

As Baharak sat at the bar eating her salmon with a Tito's Bloody Mary, she notices a man walking in, scouting the restaurant facility like the CIA, buttoning up the top of his flannel, and sits on the seat next to her. Jason, a warm and easygoing man, came to the restaurant to enjoy a quiet meal after a long day of work. Their paths were about to cross in a way that neither of them could have anticipated.

With a friendly smile, Jason initiated a conversation about his two wonderful children, and experiences of being a single father. As they both found themselves immersed in a deep and meaningful discussion, Baharak completely forgot about her line-dancing class. The chemistry between them was evident, and the restaurant seemed to fade into the background. When the night came to an end (1:30am), Jason gathered the courage to ask Baharak out on a date.
